Introducing Market

We are excited to welcome you to the heart of Helsinki, to discover our newly opened Market, the new kind of collaborative retail space that offers a curated selection of women's and children's clothing and accessories, as well as natural skin and scent care. Here's a glimpse of our new city spot and a little preview to the architectural history.

R/H Studio, Papu and Frantsila can now be found under one roof, Market. We were brought together by a shared interest in sustainably sourced materials and a local, transparent production practice. We have joined our forces in a single retail space, which features a selection of products from each brand. The Market interior is designed by Teppo Reivo and Eliisa Korpijärvi.

We are so happy and so proud to invite you in at Pohjoisesplanadi 19, Helsinki!

Market is situated in Tori Quarters, right next to Esplanadi Park and near to Helsinki Market Square and Senate Square. The history of the Esplanadi area dates back to the early 19th century when Helsinki was designated as the capital city of Finland (1812). The Empire era building is called Uschakoff house and it was built during 1815-1816.

Time has passed, and Helsinki has grown to be a noteworthy destination among European capital cities. Before us, a Tourist Information Center used to serve in the same address - and it was a rather long stay, as they helped visitors for 50 years! Now the Tourist Information Center has moved to Central Railway Station. Who knows if we're the ones to stick here for the next 50 years...

The books of history show how the city has transformed. See the change below.
